Need For Speed: Rivals is the 20th instalment in the long-running Need For Speed series of racing games, developed by Ghost Games and Criterion Games, and published by Electronic Arts. Rivals was officially announced on 23rd May, together with a teaser trailer and some images. This will be the first Need For Speed game for the next-gen consoles, namely, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, although it will also be released on the current generation, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
