As far as individual car pages go, I would still suggest a uniform layour and content, in order to provide a uniform look-and-feel. This means that any updates should be performed in a batch fashion - for example, when adding a 'Manufacturer:' data field to a car page, go through and make the same change to ''every'' car page, using the Car List as a jumpoff point. Firefox's middle-click option is a lifesaver here. [[User:GT3x24x7|GT3x24x7]] 11:26, 15 October 2006 (CDT)

I've moved any car seen in screenshots into the confirmed section. My logic here is that if EA released the screenshots, or if they were seen in official gaming events (Porsche GT3, Plymouth Roadrunner, Lexus IS300), then these cars are finished enough and licensing is done enough that the cars can be released to the community. If anyone feels any different, please justify your logic, and then edit the car list and the corresponding car pages.

This list has been exploded from the original, heavily hotlinked page to a simpler list, linked to individual car pages for every car in the list. Links to images, Wikipedia and RSportCars references have been moved off the main list to the respective car pages.

This provides a simpler car list, easier for users to edit, and also gives us much more scope for adding individual car information as it comes to hand. I would suggest that the Car List page can be expanded to include information that covers all cars, a performance comparison table, for example. Any information specific to a single car should be added to that car's page.

As far as individual car pages go, I would still suggest a uniform layour and content, in order to provide a uniform look-and-feel. This means that any updates should be performed in a batch fashion - for example, when adding a 'Manufacturer:' data field to a car page, go through and make the same change to every car page, using the Car List as a jumpoff point. Firefox's middle-click option is a lifesaver here. GT3x24x7 11:26, 15 October 2006 (CDT)

Can List update (Oct 17)

I've moved any car seen in screenshots into the confirmed section. My logic here is that if EA released the screenshots, or if they were seen in official gaming events (Porsche GT3, Plymouth Roadrunner, Lexus IS300), then these cars are finished enough and licensing is done enough that the cars can be released to the community. If anyone feels any different, please justify your logic, and then edit the car list and the corresponding car pages.
