Overview

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of realtime internet chat. It is mainly designed for group (many-to-many) communication in discussion forums called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication via private message.

#nfsunlimited

NFSUnlimited.net operates its very own IRC channel for the use of its members and anyone who wants to jump in to the channel for a chat. The channel is called #nfsunlimited and is hosted on the GameSurge IRC network.

The #nfsunlimited channel is a favourite hangout for many forum regulars and a great many of the NFSUnlimited.net Staff.

Getting Connected

The channel can be accessed via a Java-based client right in your browser at www.nfsunlimited.net/chat. Just enter your desired nickname (probably your site username is a good choice) and click the big, friendly Connect button to join the channel.

Alternately, there are many popular (and mostly free) dedicated IRC clients available that you can use to connect to #nfsunlimited. Among the best choices are mIRC, Trillian and HydraIRC. Quick setup guides for these are coming to this page soon!
